Calling all fellow warriors fighting to preserve Tasmania for ourselves and future generations! Come to our 'Power Gathering' just outside the 8th Annual Energy Conference in Devonport, and join us with banners, placards, yellow T-shirts, etc. Bring your friends!

Date/Time: Wednesday, 3 June. Gather at 9:00am. Stay until 10:15am.

Location: In the outdoor public space opposite the Paranaple Convention Centre, 137 Rooke Street, Devonport

What's the 8th Annual Energy Conference?

At this year's instalment of the annual event, there will be some very high profile names attending including the elusive Energy Minister Nick Duigan, Marinus Link CEO Stephanie McGregor, David Pollington (Managing Director of ACEN Australia, the company behind the Robbins Island wind farm), and more! The 'Elite Cartel' glitterati will be paying $2,895.00+GST a plate to attend this conference, where they will be discussing their plans to destroy Tasmania with their "$20.3 billion worth of investment planned across 75 energy projects", including Marinus Link.

From the official description: "This year’s event will focus on the transformative developments shaping Tasmania’s renewable energy sector as the state continues to lead the way in clean energy innovation and sustainability."

RAIN, HAIL OR SHINE... we'll stand TOGETHER DETERMINED at our 'Power Gathering', meeting the Elite Cartel as they arrive to the conference (peacefully and respectfully of course).

Please note: we will not actually enter the conference itself – unless you have a spare $2,895.00+GST lying around, and you're willing to part with it in order to hear exactly what they're plotting! All the same, it should be a really fun event and a great opportunity to exchange a few words with the conference guests as they arrive. We will even at last see Energy Minister Nick Duigan in the flesh – after he has successfully avoided us for the past two years – unless of course he sneaks into the conference by the back way.

Marinus is not a 'done deal' – no more than the pulp mill was, or the Franklin Dam. We will stop Marinus. Our TASCAT legal challenges are just the beginning.

So let's be heard! See you all at the 'Power Gathering' on the 3rd of June!
